Templates for common experimental paradigms
About this page
This page contains templates for common psycholinguistic paradigms designed for use with the PennController for Internet Based Experiments. These templates are intended to provide a starting point for researchers conducting online experiments. Each template focuses on a different experimental task and includes code to facilitate easy customization and deployment.
PCIbex
PennController for Internet Based Experiments (abbreviated as PennController or PCIbex) is an open-source software for building and running a wide variety of online experiments, including self-paced reading, questionnaires, and custom tasks. It allows researchers to easily design and run online experiments without needing extensive programming skills. It is s a JavaScript-based platform developed by Jeremy Zehr and Florian Schwarz as an extension of Ibex by Alex Drummond. It requires little to no background in programming, but some experience in JavaScipt and CSS is useful.
